Shah Baleeghuddin saheb never made his expertise in Islamic history a source of earning. He was well known for not charging even a single penny for his public speaches and presentations with the exception of his radio and TV programs.
After obtaining degree in law staretd his career as a junior lawyer with a leading lawyer of Pakistan and an ex prinicipal of Law College, Shaikh Haider. But soon left the profession as it was not compatable with his idea of Islamic justice. He then shifted his focus to corporate sector and served various business groups in senior management positions. He retired as Chairman of Lister Pakistan Ltd. in 1995.
